Traditional Applique is a material that has stitching aroung the outside edge of the decorative material. This example also has an embroidered dog breed across the middle
at press glitter flake vinyl is embroidered with an outline stitch and then the excess vinyl is removed. The last step is this process, is heat pressing the Glitter Flake Vinyl to the shirt.
Reverse Applique is when decorative material is underneath the shirt material and the embroidery is completed. Then the shirt materail is cut away, revealing the decorative material that is under the shirt materail.
Leather Embriodery, makes a statement.
Puff Embroidery
During the embroidery process foam is applied before specific areas are embriodered. The foam "rasies" up the embriodery. This embroidery process is reserved for items that are not washed on a regular basis.
Patch Embroidery
Sew-on patches are a great way to show "I did that". They can be created in many different shapes.
